A.O. Smith Announces Qian as Vice President of Finance
A.O. Smith, a leading water heating and water treatment solutions manufacturer, recently announced that Xiaoping Qian will be the vice president of finance in the company’s North American Water Heating (NAWH) business. Smith also announced a strong first quarter with sales of $979 million, a 1 percent increase, according to a company press release.
Nation’s Best acquires Gambles Hardware in Hotchkiss, Colo.
Continuing its recent spate of expansion, Nation’s Best adds Gambles Hardware in Hotchkiss, Colo., as its 57th location. This is the second acquisition in Colorado. In March, Nation’s Best acquired Timberline Builders Supply in Walden, Colo.
Zootown Hardware and Garden Celebrates Grand Opening
Zootown Hardware and Garden in Missoula, Mont., celebrated a grand opening April 12. As a Do it Best retailer, owner Damon Leishman had a soft opening the week before the grand opening. The store features a 5,000-square-foot showroom and 10,000-square-foot garden center.
