Do it Best Group Names Shane Burnworth as Divisional Merchandise Manager for True Value

Do it Best Group has appointed Shane Burnworth as the new Divisional Merchandise Manager for True Value, effective immediately, according to a company press release.

Burnworth steps into the role after more than a decade in merchandising leadership at Do it Best, most recently serving as merchandise manager for power tools. In that position, he led significant growth through strategic vendor relationships and helped develop programs such as Category Solutions and Solutions in Action.

Earlier in his tenure, Burnworth managed farm and ranch categories, where he was noted for building strong vendor partnerships and improving category performance.

In his new position, Burnworth will lead merchandising efforts for the True Value team, supporting the company’s broader strategy and working with cross-functional teams to drive value for True Value retailers.

“Shane’s experience in merchandising will support us well as we continue to refine and execute our merchandising strategy,” said Justin Hanford, vice president of merchandising at True Value. “His track record of success at Do it Best, combined with his ability to collaborate and drive results, will help us deliver even greater value to our retailers.”
