Ace Hardware Reports Fourth Quarter and Full-Year 2025 Financial Results
Ace Hardware Corporation on February 18 reported financial results for the fourth quarter and full year 2025, posting revenue gains as the cooperative continued to expand its wholesale and retail footprint.

Fourth quarter revenues totaled $2.5 billion, an increase of $226.7 million, or 9.9 percent, from the fourth quarter of 2024. Excluding the impact of the 53rd week in fiscal 2025, revenues increased 4.7 percent year over year. The company attributed the growth to higher wholesale revenues to independent retailers and continued expansion within Ace Retail Holdings.
Net income for the fourth quarter was $44.2 million, compared with $53.8 million in the same period a year earlier.
Fiscal 2025 Delivers Record Revenue and Dividend Performance
For the full 53-week fiscal year, Ace reported revenues of $10 billion, up 5.8 percent from 2024. Wholesale revenues increased as comparable store sales across domestic independently owned Ace stores rose 1.6 percent, supported by new store growth and digital expansion.
Full-year net income was $293.4 million, compared with $350.2 million in fiscal 2024. The decrease reflects non-recurring charges during the year, including asset impairment and costs tied to the shutdown of certain international operations.
President and CEO John Venhuizen highlighted the cooperative’s performance in the official release.
“Comparable store growth of 0.7 percent from our hardware format stores, accelerated new store growth, and a 27 percent increase within our digital business fueled a very encouraging 5.8 percent increase in revenue for the year (including the 53rd week). With record revenue, record shareholder dividends, and a 40 percent pre-tax return on shareholder equity, the Ace team is to be commended for the discipline, productivity, and stewardship with which they managed our resources and opportunities,” Venhuizen said.
Ace ended fiscal 2025 with more than 5,800 stores worldwide, the majority independently owned and operated, and said it remains focused on strengthening distribution, merchandising and retail services across its network.
