Ready Seal®

External surfaces are one of the first things that people notice about a property. Therefore, it is important to maintain them in good condition and make sure that they look their best. The best way to do this is by using professional stain products, which will protect and seal wood surfaces from external elements such as rain, snow and dirt. However, one of wood stain’s biggest negatives is the multiple-step application process.

Ready Seal® wood and stain sealer was designed to eliminate the time-consuming process while delivering a superior professional-grade stain. Ease-of-application was a priority throughout the formulation of Ready Seal to ensure a hassle-free application, saving time for the contractor or homeowner and promising a Goof-Proof™ process.

Ready Seal® requires no primer or diluting and can be applied by sprayer (airless or pump), roller or brush. The self-leveling product will not lap, run or streak and requires no back brushing. Click here for a demonstration video.

Living in South Florida enables us to test traditional spring and/or summer products in the middle of winter. However, this is not required since Ready Seal does not require a specific temperature range for proper application. The wood only needs to be clean and dry, free from mildew, dirt, oil or grease. Once applied, it can withstand rain within minutes and will be completely dried within 48-72 hours, depending on temperature.

The company’s website features an outstanding resource tab for both professional contractors and DIY homeowners. The page features videos on the complete application processes, quick tips and even a ready-to-print brochure for contractors to leave behind with customers and prospects. We supplied Ready Seal to DIY testers on a privacy fence and backyard deck. Both testers raved about how easy the product was to apply while delivering professional results with limited experience. One commented, “This might be the easiest product I used that far exceeded my expectations.” Ready Seal is a versatile product serving both the professional contractor and simple DIYer, making it a great addition to any hardware store.
