House-Hasson Fall Market Draws Record Dealer Attendance and Strong Vendor Support
House-Hasson’s Wholesale Hardware Harvest Dealer Market brought record dealer attendance and one of the most active sales floors in the company’s history. Vendor participation was also strong, contributing to what company leaders described as one of the distributor’s busiest and most successful markets yet, according to a company press release.
“Our markets are about giving dealers practical access to the products, pricing options, and category expertise they need to run strong stores,” said Steve Henry, president and CEO of House-Hasson. “There is also a chance to learn together. Dealers, vendors, and our team all bring experience to the table, and that exchange helps stores stay strong and responsive within their communities. We’re fortunate to host our October Market in Sevierville, close to our headquarters, which allows us to involve our entire organization and give dealers direct access to support, answers, and connections across the business.”
Bonus Buys attracted steady interest, vendor-only market specials generated consistent activity, and many dealers spent time with vendors exploring expanded assortments to bring in new product solutions and strengthen their store differentiation within their communities. Dealer activity at the market reflected a focus on balancing value with selective product growth. Many sought flexibility and choice in assortments, using the event to identify products and programs that could strengthen margins while expanding offerings strategically, according to a House-Hasson spokesperson.
Independent retailers at the market emphasized practical strategies for strengthening margins while maintaining fair pricing for their customers. Many focused on long-term value and programs that help stores remain competitive and responsive to local needs, reflecting their close connection to the communities they serve.
Product interest at the fall market was widespread. Automotive products stood out as a growth area, particularly among dealers operating both hardware and automotive departments. Lucas Oil was cited as a standout performer in the category. Dealers also responded positively to House-Hasson’s updated pricing and availability structure, with consistent feedback emphasizing the benefits to day-to-day operations.
Water heaters remained a reliable category, led by American Water Heaters, while Super Save and Coupon offerings accounted for a significant portion of total orders. Milwaukee and DeWalt were among the top-performing power tool brands, reflecting continued opportunity for independent hardware retailers, even in a competitive marketplace.
“Our fall market exceeded expectations on every level,” said Dave Doering, senior vice president of sales. “Dealer engagement and energy were exceptional, operations ran seamlessly, and our newest team members have quickly become valuable extensions of the House-Hasson family.”
House-Hasson’s next buying market will take place January 22–24, 2026, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn. More details are available at househasson.com/markets.
