Ace Hardware Elects New Board Member, Re-Elects Directors at 2025 Annual Meeting
Ace Hardware has announced the results of its 2025 board elections, including the addition of a new board member and the re-election of two sitting directors. The changes were finalized following the cooperative’s annual shareholders meeting held earlier this month.
David Majure, president and founder of Southeast Ace, was elected to his first term on the board. Majure oversees six Ace Hardware locations across Mississippi and Alabama, having opened his first store in Meridian, Mississippi, in 2019. His background includes prior leadership at Majure Retail Group, along with board service for The East Mississippi Boys & Girls Club and The Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi. He currently serves as co-chair of the Alabama Ace Retailer Group.
“I am honored to welcome David Majure to the Board of Directors at Ace Hardware,” said Steven Burggraf, chairman of the board, Ace Hardware Corporation. “I am confident that David’s insights and leadership will be a tremendous asset to our organization. David’s appointment marks an exciting new chapter, and we look forward to the valuable contributions he will bring to the board.”
Also re-elected to new terms were Kristen Pellicer, second-generation store owner of Ace Hardware Longmont in Longmont, Colorado, and Steven Burggraf, president and CEO of a 15-store Ace operation across Minnesota and North Dakota. Pellicer currently chairs the Nominating and Governance Committee and serves on the Audit and Finance and Compensation and Human Resources committees. Burggraf, who joined the board in 2019 and became chairman in 2024, serves on all three committees as well.
The board also recognized the service of Kristin Grunder, who has completed the maximum number of years permitted under Ace’s bylaws.
