Do it Best Forms Member Care Team, Appoints Hufford as Director
Do it Best has announced the formation of a new member care team, part of a broader initiative to improve support and streamline communication for its member-owners. Jared Hufford has been appointed director of the newly created team.
Designed to act as a centralized point of contact, the member care team will handle the majority of incoming member questions and service needs, according to the company. While most issues will be addressed directly by the new team, members will continue to work with subject matter experts for more complex or specialized matters.
“This new team will be a driving force in delivering exceptional service for our members,” said Do it Best president Nick Talarico. “Jared’s leadership and understanding of our business, and our members’ businesses make him the ideal person to lead this important effort.”
The initiative is part of the company’s effort to enhance the member experience amid continued growth. Do it Best said the team will focus on providing faster resolutions, clearer communication, and more consistent service. The member care team will be composed primarily of existing staff members drawn from departments such as business technical support, sales and order support, claims, and accounts receivable.
This Do it Best team is distinct from True Value’s retailer support team, which will continue to support retailers using True Value systems. The new member care team will support Do it Best members and Do it Best systems.
No roles are being eliminated as part of this change. Instead, the structure is designed to reduce redundancy, better align internal support functions, and help members more easily access the help they need—when they need it.
