Last year, we had the opportunity to introduce a new brand to the independent hardware channel when we reviewed the Senix 20 Volt Max 2 Tool Cordless Brushless Combo Kit. Senix is the “Official Power Tool of Richard Childress Racing,” and “strives to create powerful, affordable products that remain eco-minded with low-to-no emissions and a reduced environmental impact. Bottom line, we deliver premium performance at an exceptional value.”
For this review, the company shipped us their 20 Volt Max Cordless Jobsite Blower. While unpacking the blowers, we immediately took note of their size, which measured only 19.76” long and just 2.89 pounds. While it might be small, it packs an impressive list of features, including a three-speed trigger delivering speeds of 70 mph, 100 mph and 180 mph powered by the 20 Volt Max motor. The blower’s 20-volt battery is also compatible with all X2 Series Senix products. Click here to view a brief company video.
We provided samples to a couple of local warehouse-style businesses and one homeowner for their opinions. A few testers commented on the small stature of the blower, and one even questioned if it packed enough power to do the job. Those questions were quickly answered when they slid in the 20-volt battery, selected the highest setting, and felt the 180-mph airflow on the floor. Our testers could not get over how such a small, handheld tool could provide such force.
Our testers reported using the blower for various tasks ranging from nightly warehouse clean-up, truck bed clearing, and even drying their car after a quick wash. Our homeowner used the blower on its lowest setting to clean debris from their garden without removing the topsoil.
The Senix 20 Volt Max Cordless Jobsite Blower is a compact and powerful tool that fills a niche in the market. The Senix Jobsite Blower makes an outstanding addition to any hardware store’s product mix and should be on the shortlist for recommended gift-giving.
