Five Orgill retailers were recently honored for 2020 and 2021 Beacon Awards at The Hardware Conference in Marco Island, Florida. The Beacon Awards program recognizes the achievements of the industry’s top independent retailers.
The Beacon Awards ceremony is hosted annually at The Hardware Conference in beautiful Marco Island, FL at the Marco Island JW Marriott. Due to the pandemic, last year’s event was canceled, so 2020 winners were recognized along with 2021 honorees at the 2021 Hardware Conference. The 2020 winners were profiled in the Sept./Oct. 2020 issue of The Hardware Connection, while 2021 winners are featured in the Sept./Oct. 2021 issue.
In addition to Best New Store and Retail Beacon Awards for each of the participating wholesaler, the Beacon Awards program honored stores in the category of community service, recognizing the retailers that have gone above and beyond to serve their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Beacon Awards are sponsored by Epicor, Ettore Products Company, The Hardware Conference and The Hardware Connection magazine. They are also co-sponsored by Do it Best Corp. and Orgill.
