H&H Hometown Hardware held its grand opening celebration in Shoals, Ind.

H&H Hometown Hardware hosted a grand opening celebration on Small Business Saturday, November 25, at their new store location in Shoals, Ind.

Festivities included a live remote broadcast with WRZR 94.5 FM and free catering by Carla’s Catering & Creations. Throughout the day, home improvement shoppers registered for a Best Rewards account for a chance to win one of three grand prizes: a Blackstone Original 36 Omnivore 4-Burner Griddle with Hood, a Greenworks 80V Snow Blower with 4.0 Ah Battery and Charger, and a Generac GP7500E 9400W Dual Fuel Electric Start Portable Generator. The first 300 shoppers to register for a Best Rewards account received a free sweatshirt from ME Screenprint & Embroidery. Shoppers also earned a 20 percent discount on everything they could fit inside an H&H Hometown Hardware shopping bag, and they enjoyed special in-store savings opportunities on a variety of home improvement supplies and power tools.

“After spending the last 15 years in the defense industry, it’s time to share that knowledge and experience with the community that inspired and nurtured my growth,” said Owner Grant Sherfick, a 2001 graduate of Shoals High School. “Martin County is a hidden gem with a rich history, amazing people, lots of opportunity and great potential for growth—and I’m excited to be part of it.”

Sherfick explained how he chose the store name, saying, “I’ve chosen the name H&H in honor of my two grandfathers, Harold Fuhrman and Howard Sherfick, both born and raised in Shoals and who lived their entire lives in Martin County.”

H&H Hometown Hardware is a locally-owned family business supplying contractors and DIYers with building materials, home improvement supplies, heating and air conditioning products, farm and ranch supplies, and more. It is a member-owner of Do it Best. Learn more at www.handhhometownhardware.com.
