Ace Retail Holdings to Relocate Store Support Center to Overland Park

Ace Retail Holdings’ new Store Support Center at Executive Hills in Overland Park will house key operational departments and support more than 250 retail locations nationwide. The move is expected to be completed in late 2025.

Ace Retail Holdings, parent company of Westlake Ace Hardware, Great Lakes Ace Hardware, and other regional hardware store brands, will move its Store Support Center (SSC) from Lenexa, Kansas, to the Executive Hills office complex in Overland Park.

The new office, located at 7500 West 110th Street will occupy about 32,500 square feet across three floors. Renovations are scheduled to begin immediately, and the move is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2025.

About 130 employees will work at the new location across departments such as finance, IT, human resources, marketing, merchandising, and operations. The SSC provides centralized support for more than 250 retail locations nationwide and is a primary point of contact for store-level staff across Ace Retail Holdings’ brands.

Joe Jeffries, president and CEO of Ace Retail Holdings, said the move will provide additional space and improved accessibility for employees, many of whom live in Johnson County. The new space is expected to offer updated amenities and be configured to encourage collaboration among departments.

Retailers who coordinate with the SSC for operational support, ordering, HR matters, or promotional planning may see some transitional updates during the move later in the year. No major service disruptions are expected, but the company has not yet announced changes to contact procedures or systems access related to the relocation.

Westlake Ace currently operates 30 retail locations in the Kansas City metro area. Additional stores are in development for Shawnee, Kansas, and Grain Valley, Missouri.
