Nation’s Best Golf Tournament Raises $250,000 For ALD
Nation’s Best Holdings hosted their Second Annual Golf Tournament on November 13 in support of the Arrivederci ALD charity.
ALD, or Adrenoleukodystrophy, is a rare genetic condition that can cause severe disability and even death. Frani Broussard Denenburg started the non-profit Arrivederci ALD after she and five of her immediate family members were diagnosed with ALD in 2018. They are dedicated to finding a cure for ALD through raising funds to support research by Harvard and Stanford physicians focused on ALD research. Nation’s Best began its partnership with Arrivederci ALD in 2021 by allowing customers to “round up” their purchase to the nearest whole dollar.
The Second Annual Golf Tournament was held at the Cowboys Golf Course and hosted more than 140 golfers comprised of vendor partners, customers, and associates. Following the tournament, Frani Broussard Denenburg spoke to the group to raise awareness about ALD and shared how the funds from Nation’s Bests previous donation have been used to increase ALD Research. Nation’s Best ended the evening by presenting Arrivederci ALD with a check for $250,000 that was raised from their round-up initiative and the Second Annual Golf Tournament.
