House-Hasson Revs Up Dealers for Speedway of Savings Dealer Market

A special reception for dealers was held Thursday night at the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

House-Hasson Hardware explored a new city by holding its first dealer market in Charlotte, N.C., from October 10-12. A record number of vendors greeted dealers at the Charlotte Convention Center including 30 new vendors.

House-Hasson’s market-only specials for the “Speedway of Savings” Fall Dealer Market were highlighted by two Bonus Buy Breakfasts with discounts up to 60 percent. The hot deals included prize giveaways throughout the event. For the first time at a House-Hasson market, the exhibit hall was open on Thursday afternoon so dealers in attendance could get extra time walking the largest show in company history.

Saturday’s Bonus Buy Breakfast featured hot deals on 67 merchandisers with discounts up to 60 percent.

A complimentary dealer reception was held on Thursday evening at the adjacent NASCAR Hall of Fame. Blue Wolf driver Christian Rose was on hand signing autographs and dealers and their family members were able to tour the museum during the private function.

Steve Henry, president and CEO of House-Hasson, said he heard nothing but positive comments from dealers and vendors about the new venue and city. “We’ve been very pleased with how everything has turned out, and we’ll give strong consideration to coming back here,” he said.

During the opening breakfast on Friday morning, Henry welcomed dealers and thanked them for taking time away from their businesses to attend the show. He told a story about watching a recent news story with coverage of the hurricane aftermath and a woman covered in mud was talking about she was helping to get the hardware store back open so the community could start rebuilding. “That reminded me of how important independent hardware dealers are to their communities. What you do is very important. We don’t say thank you enough. We’re very grateful to be your partner, because your stores are what help everyone fix and build things,” he said.

Blue Wolf number 32 driver Christian Rose was on hand signing autographs for House-Hasson dealers.

Eric Kingsland of BDK Hardware, Lumber and Feed in Blanchester, Ohio, was attending the market with his father Darrell and brother Jason. As a recent convert from Bostwick-Braun, they were eager to see what House-Hasson had to offer. “There are lots of good deals here at the show. We’ve definitely found some new items to bring into our store and the whole atmosphere is great at the show,” Eric said.

House-Hasson will be hosting its next market January 30-February 1, 2025, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn.
