Do it Best Hires Hufford as Director of Strategic Initiatives
On May 20, Fort Wayne, Ind.-based distributor Do it Best announced Jared Hufford has been hired as director of strategic initiatives.
A retail hardware industry veteran, Hufford has a wealth of experience including sales, industrial distribution, sales operations, and sales management.
Hufford started working at Do it Best in 2004 as a project leader, rising within the company and serving in leadership roles including director of e-commerce for store operations and Epicor engagement, and director of INCOM distributor supply. Throughout his career, Hufford has helped the company drive growth and increase efficiencies.

In his most recent position as director of e-commerce for store operations, Hufford was responsible for managing the Epicor relationship and providing services to Do it Best members. In his new role, Hufford returns to the sales side of the wholesaler’s business., and he will oversee the Retail Performance team and the implementation of the inventory productivity analysis tool.

Hufford has a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Franklin University and master of business administration degree focused on organizational leadership from Ohio Dominican University.
