The Do it Best Foundation’s fifth annual Fore the Cause golf tournament raised a record-setting $1.36 million on June 9, surpassing its $1.25 million goal. Held across four Fort Wayne, Ind., golf courses, the event brought together 460 participants, including vendors, suppliers, and partners from across the Do it Best community.
“This event continues to grow in both impact and enthusiasm each year, and we’re incredibly grateful for the generosity shown by our partners and community,” said Curtis Smith, executive director of the Do it Best Foundation. “What makes it even more meaningful is that every dollar raised comes into Fort Wayne and is then distributed to incredible nonprofit organizations serving communities locally and across the country.”
In addition to the tournament, the Foundation unveiled a refreshed logo and website aligning with the broader Do it Best Group brand.
Since launching in 2019, the Foundation has awarded nearly $2 million in grants supporting health and wellness, youth enrichment, the arts, and community development. Planning is already underway for the next Fore the Cause tournament, scheduled for June 8, 2026.
