Do it Best Bolsters Power Tool Offerings with Paslode
Rolling into the Spring 2024 Market, the Fort Wayne, Ind.-based distributor Do it Best has announced a new initiative to stock Paslode products in warehouses.
Paslode manufactures cordless and pneumatic nailers, staplers, and fasteners. Founded in 1959, Paslode is a division of Illinois Tool Works Inc. and based in Vernon Hills, Ill. In 1986, Paslode introduced the cordless nailer to the market.
“We continually seek new opportunities to enhance the value we offer our members, and securing top products with vendors that share our passion for pursuing product excellence and supporting independent retailers is one facet of that,” said Do it Best President and CEO Dan Starr. “That’s why we’re excited to announce Paslode as our newest addition to the warehouse.”
The Do it Best initiative to stock Paslode follows the 2023 exclusive partnership with BFG Supply Co., which gave members exclusive access to a comprehensive catalog of lawn and garden products. With the new program, Do it Best will offer the full line of Paslode products including fuel-powered, cordless nailers, staplers, and fasteners.
“We understand the importance of offering an extensive product selection that caters to different retail stores across markets,” added Power Tools Merchandise Manager Shane Burnworth.
“Whether it’s a single-location home improvement store, a comprehensive home center and showroom, or a multi-state pro-focused lumberyard operation, we’re committed to helping our members become the go-to source for home improvement and building supplies within their communities. And we do that by providing the products our members need with premium brands.”
Creating such partnerships have yielded benefits, according to the Do it Best press release. One example: Category Solutions sales are up 35 percent so far in 2024.
“Paslode provides this opportunity, and with 80 years of proven industry experience, we’re confident that this new initiative will help drive member growth,” Starr said. Along with promoting well-stocked Paslode products, Do it Best will unveil two groundbreaking technology-based tools to enhance operational efficiencies and optimize inventory management at the spring market.
