Cologne Hardware Fair to Welcome Attendees in February
The EISENWARENMESSE – INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR Cologne, set for February 21-24, enters the home stretch with additional hall capacity and a new e-commerce area.
The exhibitor response to EISENWARENMESSE – INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR Cologne clearly reflects the commitment to physical trade fairs. About 2,000 exhibitors have registered so far including U.S. firms like Stanley Black & Decker. As can be seen from the number of registrations, the industry is eagerly looking forward to its world-leading trade fair and the wide spectrum of themes covered at the four-day event.
The new theme platforms at the Cologne Hardwar Fair offer excellent added value for exhibitors and visitors: A top-class e-commerce area will feature a variety of innovative, disruptive solutions and strategies for business in the areas of payment, shop systems, ERP, hosting, search engine optimization and multichannel. In addition to exciting solutions, there will also be excellent keynote sessions delivered by digital rock star Michael Atug and digitalization guru Frank Thelen.
Besides informative expert talks and lectures, online giants such as Facebook and eBay as well as business providers like Shopware will also be exhibiting in the e-commerce area.
As part of Koelnmesse’s digitalization strategy, the Cologne show will also be held as a hybrid event for the first time. Physical product presentations and networking formats will be complemented by new, digital offerings and ensure greater international reach.
Overall, the strong response to the world’s leading trade fair clearly demonstrates that companies want face-to-face business networking opportunities. The comprehensive #ROCK-SAFE4business hygiene concept, widening the aisles to five meters, ultra-modern ventilation systems and the addition of two halls will ensure maximum safety.
“The current registration status is a fantastic signal of the industry’s trust in the trade fair and proves that physical networking formats are irreplaceable for generating sustainable business success,” explains Matthias Becker, director of EISENWARENMESSE – INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR Cologne. “In the future, we will enhance the benefits of a physical event with innovative, digital formats in order to provide customers with even more added value before, during and after the trade fair.”
