Ace Hardware Hires Magee to Head Emery Jensen Distribution

Ace Hardware Corp. has appointed Michael Magee to president and general manager of Emery Jensen Distribution, a division of Ace Wholesale Holdings. He will report to John Surane, Ace’s chief merchandising and sales officer.

Magee is the former senior vice president of sales with Crayola LLC and also served in senior leadership roles at Newell Brands, Jarden, Sara Lee, Radio Flyer and Seagram’s. He holds a bachelor of science degree from York College of Pennsylvania.

Leading Emery Jensen Distribution, Magee will have the responsibility for overseeing strategic and tactical plans for growing the wholesale business including the development of marketing and commercial strategies. Magee’s role will be instrumental in broadening distribution and furthering the geographic expansion of Emery Jensen Distribution.
