Gillman Do it Best Home Center Celebrates New Muncie Location
Gillman Do it Best Home Center threw a party this past weekend to celebrate the grand opening of their newest location in Muncie, Ind. This marks their 15th location throughout central Indiana and southwestern Ohio.
COO Curtis Gillman welcomed the community, city officials and invited guests to the two-day, family-friendly celebration, kicking off festivities with the ceremonial cutting of a wooden ribbon, as well as a wood-carving demonstration, on Friday, May 12.
On Saturday, May 13, attendees enjoyed hearing from Bruce “Gatorman” Mitchell from The History Channel’s Swamp People, a luncheon benefiting the Greater Muncie Habitat for Humanity and grand prizes, including a stainless steel Weber Grill.
Brian Casey from 93.5 WMXQ was also live at the store. Located at 3400 South Madison Street, the home center features 17,500 square feet of retail space and an expansive outdoor lumberyard. The store features an extensive selection of building materials, grills, tools, and paint and paint supplies, as well as a wide selection of rental equipment.
“Opening our new Muncie store location is something of a homecoming for me—I graduated from Ball State University, which is just a few miles down the road,” said Gillman. “I’m excited by how warmly the community has already welcomed our team of experts, and I’m excited to bring our unique combination of selection, service and support to them.”
